United Palestinian Appeal, Inc. (UPA), a 501(c) (3) New York-registered non-profit organization, with headquarters in Washington, DC. Established in 1978 by Palestinian-American professionals, UPA was conceived as a non-political, non-sectarian organization that would help Palestinians meet their relief and development needs.
UPA is seeking to implement the “Strengthening Medical Emergency Treatment & Care through the Provision of Specialized Medical Items” project and would like to invite to bid eligible and qualified suppliers who are officially registered locally in the health industry and have a variety of high-quality medical tools and supplies in Lebanon. The supplier must have access to an extensive supply of specialized medical tools and supplies, specifically useful for trauma and burn injuries and cases.
The medical tools and supplies procured under this tender will be delivered directly to Saida Governmental Emergency Hospital (Turkish Hospital) in Sidon. Given that, the supplier is fully responsible for all required procedures and costs to supply, deliver and handover all items procured, and in accordance with the tender terms and conditions, Bill of Quantities (BoQs).
This tender is divisible which means that the bid may be awarded to different vendors. The offers will be evaluated and awarded according to both the lowest responsive prices and early date of delivery. Given that, UPA has the right to increase/decrease the quantities; or drop any or all quantities mentioned in the BoQ in this tender. The BoQ mentioned in this invitation is considered as proxy indication for the final quantities which will be according to the final purchase order.

* Bid Entry Bank Guarantee with 5% of the bid value should be submitted and delivered by hand to UPA Program Coordinator Mr. Sameh Issa, who can be contacted on +961 3 031 657 on or before the deadline of bid submission. A scanned copy of the bank guarantee should also be included in the bid documents submitted via email.
Deadline for Bids Submission: On or before Friday, 21 February 2025, at 12:00 Mid-Day, Lebanon time. Note: In any way, late bids will not be accepted.
