BEIRUT: BeirutWeLoveYou's latest initiative will project messages of solidarity on the facade of An-Nahar’s building for four nights starting October 4 as Lebanon grapples with its biggest crisis in decades.
Messages of love from more than 40 countries will be projected on the building over the course of four days including artworks and videos directed to the city. These will be prepared by celebrities, influencers, and prominent personalities to. show solidarity with the people of Lebanon.
To launch this campaign, the BeirutWeLoveYou initiative partnered with the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE) Lebanon Alumni Association, Ahla Fawda, and Art of Change to curate and create a community of local and international artists who have taken a selection of these messages and translated them into art.
Two months after the explosion, the project aims to remind the people of Lebanon that they are not alone, that the world is watching, listening, and longing for a bright future for Beirut.
The opening ceremony will be held on October 4th at 6 pm, in the presence of ambassadors and envoys from several countries.
