School is more than just gaining knowledge and building our future. It is also about meeting new people, making friends, and having fun while learning. Socialization, personal growth, and building a strong personality are all vital parts of the school experience. Despite this, there are many cases where students feel burdened by school, which is often due to external pressure such as overbearing parents or siblings. While it is essential for parents to be invested in their children's education, being excessively strict can have a negative rather than positive impact. This can lead to children hating school and even life, and can often result in serious mental health issues. Support and encouragement from parents is a crucial element in a child's development, at any age. Children require attention, love, and support to succeed in their academic and personal lives.
Parents need to understand that being strict is not always the solution. Many parents are absent from their children's lives due to various reasons such as work, family problems, or financial struggles which cause their children's grades to be affected. Family problems and conflicts often result in children's inability to concentrate on schoolwork due to the emotional turmoil they experience. Therefore, to ensure that children succeed in school, a supportive home environment is necessary.
It is important to remember that children are not always vocal about their problems, which could be due to shame or trust issues. Therefore, it is crucial for parents to create a safe space for their children to open up about their lives and their struggles. Remember, parents hold an important place in their children's lives, and sometimes, they have the power to either build them up or break them down.
In conclusion, school is not just about academic achievements, but about nurturing social, emotional and personal growth. Parents play a critical role in creating a supportive environment for their children, which can impact their academic performance and personal life. It is essential that parents prioritize building strong relationships with their children and create an open space for communication and expression.
