A Lebanese initiative

Elias Polion (born December 26, 2000) is a young Lebanese trail runner and alpinist, who currently lives in Lebanon, Beirut.
He had participated as a trail runner in several competitions in his home country Lebanon.
Achievements:
Elias Polion crossed the 7 x 3000ers in Lebanon with his teammates, George Saado, Joseph Iskandar & Marwan Akl.
The team started the trail from the Cedars ski station and crossed the 25km trail in a decent time of 5h 30’ with a total ascent of 1845m.
Trail runner @eliaspolion take part of the initiative created by @ramirasamny & @avediskalpaklian, to cross the Lebanese Mountain Trail from South to North in order to raise 10.000$ for the Lebanese Red Cross especially after what happened on August 4.
Halfway through he felt physically and mentally down and he couldn’t continue the rest of the journey without @lindosdaou and @avediskalpaklian‘s motivation.
The record was broken, finishing 470km in a total of 7 days, 10 hours and 6 minutes raising 12000$ for the Lebanese Red Cross.
On Saturday June 12th, 2020 at 8:00 Am Elias Polion complete his Half-Everesting, attempt through climbing Darb l Sama 11 Times on foot.
Concept: Everesting is an international challenge where you pick a hill, anywhere in the world and you complete repeats of it in a single activity until you climb 8,848 m – the equivalent height of Mt Everest.
Aims: To spread positive message of hope, resilience and good faith despite all odds and to raise funds to Together Li Beirut NGO through donating online.
