The CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Sultan Al Jaber, announced today, Thursday, that the Strait of Hormuz has not yet opened, even though more than thirty hours have passed since the truce took effect in Iran.

Al Jaber pointed out that the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz “delays supplies, reduces markets, and raises prices,” noting that 80% of oil shipments from the Gulf are directed to Asia and that 230 oil tankers are ready to sail.
