Islamabad reaffirmed its determination to continue dialogue and to facilitate discussions between the two sides, noting that it is awaiting the scheduling of a meeting between the concerned parties.

On Thursday, Iran described the United States’ demands to end the war in the Middle East as "extreme and illogical," while denying that any negotiations over a ceasefire were taking place, according to Iranian media.
Iranian news agency ISNA quoted the spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baghaei, as saying, "Messages have been received through intermediaries, including Pakistan, but there are no direct negotiations with the United States." He added that Washington’s demands are "extreme and illogical."
State television reported him saying, "We are prepared for any type of attack, including a ground attack," while U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that Tehran is demanding a ceasefire.
