Hezbollah launches drone and rocket attacks on northern Israel as sirens sound
Hezbollah announced on Thursday that its fighters carried out an attack using drones and rockets targeting northern Israel, while warning sirens were heard in the border areas, according to the Israeli army’s Home Front Command.
In separate statements, the group said it targeted Israeli forces in border areas with several rockets and also carried out a drone attack that reached one of the villages inside Israel. At the same time, Israeli authorities reported that warning systems were activated in those areas, with no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
Casualties in Kiryat Shmona
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that two people were injured after rockets fell in the town of Kiryat Shmona. The Israeli army radio stated that around 35 rockets were fired from Lebanon overnight, most of which were intercepted. Channel 12 also reported that a rocket fell in a nearby town in Upper Galilee and cited sources saying that more than 30 rockets were launched toward Kiryat Shmona and its surroundings.

The Israeli army announced that search and rescue teams have begun sweeping sites in northern Israel following the fall of rocket fragments.
In addition, the Walla news site reported, citing military sources, that the Israeli army has started demolishing homes in Lebanese villages along the first line of the border.
Continued shelling in the south
Meanwhile, Israeli shelling continued in southern Lebanon, where areas in the Jabal Amel region, south of the Litani River, have been hit by artillery since early morning, reaching the outskirts of the town of Dibbin around three a.m.
A dawn airstrike on a two-story building in Kfar Sir resulted in three casualties.
Enemy warplanes also carried out airstrikes on Harouf and Zibdin, destroying a house.
