UAE and Iran hold high-level talks to boost bilateral relations
The UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Lana Nusseibeh, met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran during her participation in the second meeting of the Political Consultations Committee between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Arab Emirates.
During the meeting, Nusseibeh described the talks with Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister as "useful and constructive," affirming "the UAE's determination to continue strengthening bilateral relations between Iran and the UAE in various fields, especially in the economic and commercial sectors," according to a statement from the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs."
The Iranian Foreign Ministry added: "Ms. Nusseibeh welcomed the resumption of diplomatic dialogue between Iran and the United States in Muscat, and affirmed her country's commitment to regional stability and security, as well as to reducing tensions."
For his part, Araghchi highlighted "the good and broad-ranging relations between Iran and the United Arab Emirates in various fields, especially economic and commercial," affirming Iran's readiness to enhance bilateral relations in line with the common interests of both countries.

Araghchi also praised "the efforts of regional countries in reducing tensions and maintaining regional peace and stability, valuing their diplomatic initiatives and good offices in this regard."
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that "the two sides exchanged views on regional and international developments and emphasized the importance of enhancing stability and security in the region through dialogue and diplomatic solutions, as well as continuing consultations and communication between the two countries."
