After multiple strikes over recent days targeting the Jnah–Ghobeiry area, the Israeli army today added Jnah to its list of comprehensive warning zones covering Beirut’s southern suburbs, amid ongoing escalation following the intense air campaign it launched on Lebanon yesterday.
The Israeli army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, published a map that includes the areas of Haret Hreik, Ghobeiry, Laylaki, Hadath, Burj al-Barajneh, Tahoueitet el Ghadir, Shiyyah, and Jnah.
The map, marked in red, shows that the threatened areas also include Ouzai and Hay al Sellom, both of which were subjected to heavy Israeli bombardment yesterday, Wednesday, for the first time since the outbreak of the war on March 2.
Hay al Sellom and Ouzai fall within the geographic and administrative boundaries of Burj al Barajneh and Tahwitat al Ghadir.
