Lebanese authorities warn residents to stay safe amid ongoing Israeli attacks
In light of regional developments and circulating news about a ceasefire in Lebanon, the Lebanese Army Command – Guidance Directorate, urged citizens to be cautious about returning to southern villages and towns and to avoid approaching areas penetrated by Israeli occupation forces, in order to preserve their safety, especially since their lives could be exposed to the risk of ongoing Israeli attacks.

Since this morning, the Civil Defense at the Islamic Health Authority and the emergency teams of the Islamic Risala Scout Association have repeatedly urged citizens not to head south, pending an official Lebanese statement regarding a ceasefire, while Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory, particularly in the south, continue.
In addition, the Electronic Communication Authority of the Amal Movement circulated an appeal to displaced people stating: “It is advisable to remain in safe locations until an official announcement of a ceasefire covering Lebanon is issued.”
