The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, confirmed today, Saturday, that his country seeks conditions that ensure a final and permanent end to what he described as the "illegitimate war imposed" on it, emphasizing the need to prevent its recurrence.

Araghchi clarified that Iran has "never refused to hold talks with mediators," expressing his gratitude to Pakistan for its efforts, and affirming "Tehran's readiness to go to Islamabad to continue the consultations."

Warning of serious consequences

He pointed out that “Israel and the United States have bombed the Bushehr facility four times so far,” warning that “radiological contamination could destroy life in the capitals of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, not in Tehran.”

He added that "the attacks on our petrochemical facilities reveal the true objectives of the war."

The war continues in Iran today, as the capital, Tehran, witnessed explosions in the past hours that echoed across the north and east of the city, amid intense military aircraft activity.
