All shops, public and private institutions, banks, universities, and schools closed their doors in the cities of the West Bank, while hospitals and bakeries were exempt from the strike.

The streets of Ramallah, in the center of the West Bank and home to the Palestinian presidential and government headquarters, appeared devoid of any movement. Similarly, shops in Nablus and Hebron were completely closed.

Later in the day, a large procession took place in the city of Ramallah, denouncing the Israeli decision. The march moved through several streets, joined by leaders of Palestinian factions and religious figures, amid chants condemning Israeli violations and the execution law, and expressing support for prisoners in the jails.
