The SANA news agency reported Thursday, that “Israeli forces have entered the village of Saida Al-Hanout in the Quneitra countryside.”

 

It stated: “A unit of the Israeli army, consisting of 22 vehicles, entered the village of Saida Al-Hanout in the southern Quneitra countryside, briefly detaining three young men before releasing them.”

The Israeli army advanced Wednesday into the town of Bir Ajam and the village of Bariqa in the southern Quneitra countryside, an area near the border with Syria that has seen repeated cross-border tensions in recent years.
