After two days of calm in southern Lebanon, coinciding with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam’s visit, the Israeli army resumed attacks on villages this morning, with a drone striking a car in the town of Yanouh in the Tyre district, causing it to ignite immediately.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that “three people were killed in the airstrike on the town of Yanouh, including a three-year-old child.”

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee commented, saying, “We recently targeted a Hezbollah operative in the Yanouh area of southern Lebanon.”

In another Israeli attack early this morning, the “Islamic Group” reported that “Israeli occupation forces infiltrated under the cover of darkness at midnight Sunday–Monday into the town of Hebbariyah in the Hasbaya district, abducting the group’s official in the Hasbaya and Marjayoun areas, Atwi Atwi, from his home and taking him to an unknown location after terrorizing his family and assaulting them physically.”

The Israeli army announced, “A prominent figure of the Islamic Group was arrested and transferred to Israel for interrogation, and combat equipment was found inside the building.”
