Egypt and UAE discuss cooperation and condemn Iranian attacks
During an official visit to Abu Dhabi, President of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Zayed discussed with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi various avenues for cooperation and joint work, particularly in economic and development fields, as well as ways to enhance them in a manner that serves the countries’ development priorities and shared interests, bringing prosperity and growth to their peoples.

According to the WAM news agency, the meeting addressed developments in the Middle East amid escalating military actions and their serious implications for regional and international security and stability. During the meeting, El-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s condemnation of Iran’s blatant attacks, which continue to target the United Arab Emirates and several other regional brotherly countries, representing a violation of their sovereignty and international law. He also affirmed Egypt’s solidarity with the UAE in all measures it takes to protect its security, territorial integrity, and citizens.
The two sides emphasized the urgent need to halt escalation immediately and to resort to serious dialogue and diplomatic means to resolve outstanding issues in the region, thereby avoiding further security tensions and crises and preserving regional security and stability.
