UAE air defenses intercept missiles and drones amid Iranian attacks
The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that on Friday, UAE air defenses intercepted seven ballistic missiles and 27 drones coming from Iran.
"Since the start of the blatant Iranian attacks, UAE air defenses have dealt with 285 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,567 drones," the ministry said.
"These attacks have caused six deaths among UAE, Pakistani, Nepali, and Bangladeshi nationals, and 141 minor to moderate injuries among people of various nationalities, including UAE, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepali, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, and Swedish," according to the ministry.

The Ministry of Defense affirmed that it is "fully prepared and ready to respond to any threats and to firmly confront anything that aims to undermine the country's security, ensuring the protection of its sovereignty, safety, stability, and safeguarding its national interests and resources."
