Oil prices continued to rise today, Thursday, after strikes targeting energy infrastructure in the Middle East raised further concerns about supply.
Brent crude from the North Sea rose by more than 10 percent, reaching 119.13 dollars per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate, the US benchmark crude, increased by 2.6 percent to 98.81 dollars per barrel.
This comes amid Iranian attacks on a major liquefied natural gas facility in Qatar, considered the largest in the world, as well as oil refineries in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
