Cancer is a very difficult disease that is tackling most of the Lebanese citizens because of pollution. They say it is easy, for they never felt how it feels to take chemotherapy, to lose your hair, or to only feel there is cancer in your body. What they really care about is never the innocents, they just think of the money they are gaining versus the citizens' health.
Some doctors try to solve the issue by saying eat healthy, breathe fresh air... What if the food we are eating turns out to be injected by hormones by careless farmers to make their plantations look more attractive? What if the air we are breathing is polluted by cars and unfiltered factories? Don't they think that they are harming us? Far from being healthy, we are being over sick.
Did you ever ask yourself how does it feel to lose your hair? What about chemotherapy? Does it feel delightful? Just knowing that you have cancer in your body will play havoc with your internal feelings.
Finally, I would like to mention that it is really not easy, and it does hurt emotionally, to put your hand on your head and find it full of hair…
This is the voice of a small girl who is trying to tackle an issue no one is noticing.
