ADNOC CEO: Any Iranian Restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz are 'Economic Terrorism'
Sultan Al Jaber, CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), described any Iranian restrictions on passage through the Strait of Hormuz as 'economic terrorism'.
Al Jaber said in a speech delivered in the United States today, Thursday, 'When Iran holds the Strait of Hormuz hostage, every country pays the ransom at gas stations, grocery stores, and pharmacies'.

He added, 'No country can be allowed to destabilize the global economy in this way. Not now, not at any time'.
During a meeting with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance earlier, Al Jaber stated that the freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz is the only permanent solution to stabilize global markets.
