Trump: It is Possible That I Could Negotiate with Iran... Larijani: We Do Not Fear Your Threats
Fox News reported on Tuesday that U.S. President Donald Trump stated he might be ready to negotiate with Iran, but it depends on certain conditions.
Fox News mentioned that Trump, during an interview conducted with him on Monday evening, responded to the possibility of negotiating with Tehran, saying he had heard about Iran's strong desire for dialogue.
Trump also reiterated his dissatisfaction with the new Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
He told Fox News: "I don't think he can live peacefully."
Trump repeated his statements in a press conference held on Monday, where he told Fox News that the results of the U.S. military operation in Iran "far exceeded expectations."
He added that he was surprised by Iran launching missile attacks and deploying drones on Gulf countries.

Meanwhile, Ali Larijani, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, minimized the significance of Trump's threats to intensify attacks on the Islamic Republic should the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz cease.
Larijani stated in a post on "X": "The Ashuraic Iranian people do not fear your empty threats, as those greater than you have failed to erase us... beware you do not become the ones to vanish."
Trump stated in a post on Truth Social: "If Iran takes any action that halts the oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz, they will be targeted by the United States twenty times stronger than the strikes they received so far."
