Trump threatens Iran with 'unprecedented' military force if it retaliates
President Donald Trump announced on Sunday that the United States would strike Iran with 'unprecedented force' if it retaliates against the American and Israeli strikes that resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform early Sunday that Iran declared "that it would hit harder today, stronger than any previous strike." To emphasize his point Trump, said that "they better not do it, because if they do, we will strike them with unprecedented force!"

Trump stated that American strikes would continue "as long as necessary," considering Khamenei's death an "optimal chance" for Iranians to seize power.
