iPhone 18 Pro: What to expect from Apple’s most powerful upgrade yet
Leaks are increasing about Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro, which is expected to include significant upgrades in the processor, connectivity, camera, and design.
Here are the expected features of the iPhone 18 Pro according to the latest tech reports, as reported by CNN.

Reports indicate that the iPhone 18 Pro will run on the A20 Pro chip, manufactured using TSMC’s first-generation 2-nanometer technology. It is expected to deliver faster performance for demanding apps and games, along with higher energy efficiency.
The new design of the chassis and internal chip packaging may also help improve heat management and extend battery life, in addition to supporting stronger on-device AI processing capabilities.
Moreover, Apple is expected to use its own C2 modem instead of the Qualcomm 5G modem used in previous models. The C2 modem will support NR-NTN technology for non-terrestrial networks, enabling connectivity via low Earth orbit satellites.
This could ensure internet access even in areas without cellular coverage, and the modem is also expected to enhance performance in weak or congested networks. According to Reuters, the new system allows the processor to prioritize time-sensitive data during network congestion.
On the camera front, the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to feature a 48-megapixel Fusion camera with a variable aperture lens. This technology allows control over the amount of light reaching the sensor, giving users greater flexibility in adjusting depth of field and exposure.
