Israeli Forces conduct temporary incursion in southern Quneitra, halting civilian movement
Syrian Observatory reports repeated violations of sovereignty, including checkpoints, reconnaissance, and land-clearing operations along key southern roads.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported today, Tuesday, a field incursion carried out by military vehicles belonging to Israeli forces deep in the southern Quneitra countryside.
The incursion forces set up a "temporary" military checkpoint on the vital road connecting the towns of Al-Muallaqa and Ghadir Al-Bustan, which led to a complete halt in traffic and civilian movement in the area for hours, according to the Syrian Observatory.
According to the Observatory, the Israeli forces spread out along the road, conducting surveillance and field reconnaissance operations amid a state of apprehension among farmers and residents, before fully withdrawing from the site and returning behind the disengagement line into the occupied territories.
The Syrian Observatory pointed out that "these movements are part of the ongoing repeated Israeli violations of Syrian sovereignty in the southern sector," noting that for more than a year it has documented land-clearing operations, trench digging, and the establishment of advanced observation posts inside Syrian territory, "in the absence of any actual action by the regime forces stationed at points near the incursion sites."
