On Tuesday, the Israeli military announced details of an attack on Syria last week, which included both an airstrike and a ground troop incursion.
The military stated that "during a night raid in southern Syria, a weapons depot belonging to the Islamic group was destroyed."
The target, located in the village of Beit Jinn, reportedly contained large quantities of weapons, including "firearms, mines, and other military equipment," according to the military.
The attack also included an Israeli ground force incursion to "locate and destroy a weapons depot belonging to the Islamic group," according to a military spokesperson.
The military released a video of the operation, depicting an airstrike followed by a ground operation conducted by Israeli soldiers.

The Israeli attack came months after an armed clash between group members and Israeli forces in the same village during an attempted arrest, which left several Israeli soldiers injured, including some with serious wounds.
