The Turkish Fenerbahçe, the most active team in the winter transfer window, is stepping up efforts to strengthen its attacking line after signing players in midfield and on the wings.

“The Yellow Canaries” or “The Yellow-Navy Blues," seeking to fill the gap left by Youssef En-Nesyri, are looking to begin negotiations to add new players to their squad.

Fenerbahçe want to sign Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush on loan from Manchester City until the end of the season.

The Turkish outlet Sabah reported that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has approved the departure of the 26-year-old player.

However, due to interest from several European clubs, a move for Marmoush appears difficult. Fenerbahçe will make every effort to complete the deal.

Omar Marmoush, who started in Manchester City’s 2–0 win over Wolverhampton, opened the scoring in the sixth minute, while new-signing Antoine Semenyo doubled the lead in the 45th minute. This was Marmoush’s second goal of the season.

Fenerbahçe’s other target is Fisnik Asllani, the German Hoffenheim player. The 23-year-old striker, who stands 1.91 meters tall and is known for his aerial ability, is valued at €30 million. Despite the high price tag, Fenerbahçe continue negotiations.
