Israel arrests 50 Palestinians from the West Bank
Official Palestinian statistics indicate that the number of Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons has exceeded 9,300, including 49 women and 350 children under the age of 18.
The Palestinian Prisoners' Club announced that Israel arrested and conducted field interrogations with 50 Palestinians from the West Bank during the night and early Thursday morning.
It indicated in a statement that among them were a woman and two children, "in addition to former prisoners."
The Palestinian Prisoners' Club explained that the arrests and field interrogations were concentrated in the village of Al-Shuyukh in the Hebron Governorate and the town of Kafr Rai in the Jenin Governorate.
No statement was issued by the Israeli authorities responsible for such arrests and field interrogations.
