The Lebanese national team secured a comfortable 110–73 victory over the Syrian team at the opening of Al-Fayhaa Stadium in Damascus, in the presence of Syrian President Ahmad Al-Shara.

 

The Lebanese national team played an exhibition friendly match against the Syrian team, following a grand opening ceremony for Al-Fayhaa Stadium in Damascus that was attended by official political, social, and sports figures, along with a large crowd in the stands.

 

The Lebanese team took the lead from the opening minutes of the match, and despite several attempts by the home side to come back, the visitors ended the first quarter ahead by 15 points, 34–19.

 

The Cedar team had no difficulty maintaining their comfortable lead in the second quarter, with standout performances from veteran Ismail Ahmed—playing for the first time in the Lebanese jersey—alongside Youssef Khayat and Joe Abou Samra, finishing the half with a 65–39 scoreline.

 

Lebanon continued its dominance in the third quarter, which ended with a score of 90-59.

 

The situation remained unchanged in the final quarter, with the Lebanese team winning over the Syrian team by 37 points with a score of 110-73.
