Egypt appoints new defense minister
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi appointed Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Director of the Military Academy, as Minister of Defense on Wednesday, succeeding Lieutenant General Abdel Majeed Saqr.
