The President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received the French Minister of Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs, Catherine Vautrin, who conveyed the greetings of French President Emmanuel Macron and his wishes for the UAE's continued security and prosperity.

 

During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in the defense fields, within the framework of the strategic partnership that unites the two countries, emphasizing their mutual interest in developing it.

The meeting also addressed developments in the Middle East in light of military escalation and its implications for regional and international security and stability.

 

The French minister reiterated her country's condemnation of the attacks targeting the UAE and regional countries, affirming France's solidarity and support for the measures taken by the UAE to maintain its security and stability.

 

The meeting was attended by several senior officials, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan.
