Early Tuesday morning, an airstrike struck a residential house in Baghdad’s Al-Jadriya area, causing casualties that included both fatalities and injuries.
Iraqi security sources told “Annahar” that the strike occurred in the early hours of the morning, targeting a house where a meeting was being held by several Iranian advisers along with leaders of Iraqi armed factions. Preliminary information suggests the strike was precise, likely involving advanced reconnaissance technologies.

The sources added that the initial toll of the attack stood at four dead and three injured, some of them in critical condition. Meanwhile, civil defense teams continue to search beneath the rubble of the house amid fears that more victims may still be trapped and have not yet been recovered.
So far, the identities of those inside the targeted house have not been disclosed, while a strict security cordon has been imposed around the site of the incident. The Al-Jadriya area and its surrounding neighborhoods have witnessed a heavy security presence, with several roads leading to the site closed and civilians and media prevented from approaching.
