A spokesperson for the Central Headquarters of Khatam al‑Anbiya said today, Wednesday, that Iran will target economic and banking interests linked to the United States and Israel in the region, adding that this threat comes in the wake of an attack on an Iranian bank.

Official media quoted spokesperson Ibrahim Zoufaqari as saying: "Following their failed campaign, the American terrorist military and the brutal Zionist regime targeted one of the country's banks."

He continued, saying: "With this unlawful and unconventional act, the enemy compels us to target the economic centers and banks associated with the United States and the Zionist regime in the region."

The spokesperson warned residents across the region to avoid the banks.
