Iranian Police Chief Ahmad Reza Radan warned demonstrators supporting the positions of the country’s enemies that authorities would deal with them accordingly, according to statements broadcast by official Iranian television on Tuesday evening.

In his statements, Radan said, “If anyone acts in line with the enemy’s desires, we will no longer regard them as mere protesters, but will instead view them as enemies.” He added, "All our forces are on high alert, with their fingers on the trigger, ready to defend their revolution."

Netanyahu had earlier called on Iranians to rebel against their government, describing the war waged by Israel and the United States as a “historic war for freedom,” in a message addressed to the Iranian people.

Netanyahu wrote: “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to remove the Ayatollah regime and gain your freedom,” adding, “You asked for help, and it has come.”
