Iran signals strength ahead of third round of Geneva talks
Iran continues to issue warnings that it will respond firmly to any U.S. or Israeli attack on its territory. Most recently, Iranian Army commander Major General Amir Hatami said that “Iranian armed forces are on high alert,” warning “enemies against making any mistakes.”
Hatami added, “The enemy thinks we are weak and that they are strong, but they are mistaken. Greater Iran cannot be taken over."
He also said, “The enemy did not expect to face this level of resilience, despite deploying aircraft carriers and other weapons.”

This comes as both the United States and the Islamic Republic prepare to hold a third round of talks in Geneva on Thursday, according to Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi.
Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed cautious optimism, saying that the latest rounds of negotiations “have yielded encouraging signs,” but he also noted Tehran’s readiness “for any possible scenario.”
