The Anti Narcotics Department managed to seize a massive shipment of liquid cocaine at the port of Latakia. It had arrived aboard a vessel coming from Brazil and was tightly concealed inside containers of vegetable oil as part of a complex smuggling attempt toward a neighboring country.

The operation was carried out based on precise and reliable intelligence, followed by close field surveillance, which resulted in the full seizure of the shipment before it left the port.

The Anti Narcotics Department confirmed that this operation falls within its ongoing efforts to pursue drug trafficking networks, protect public security, and prevent narcotic substances from reaching local and international markets.
