Over the past hour, large numbers of Israelis received a message attributed to Iranian entities reading: “The doors of the Iranian embassy are open to you.”

Earlier, an Iranian hacker group calling itself “Hanzala” claimed it had hacked the phone of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's chief of staff Tzachi Braverman .

However, Israel’s Channel 12 TV quoted a source in the Prime Minister’s Office as saying the matter had been examined and no breach was found.

The "Hanzala" account on the "X" platform published details of the hacking operation, addressing what it called "the close circle of Netanyahu, and every official still clinging to the illusion of secrecy: "You now feel the terror gnawing at your chests. This is not just fear, but a realization that every layer of your security, and every secret entrusted to Braverman, Netanyahu’s chief of staff, his gatekeeper and the keeper of forbidden truths, has been fully exposed."

The group added: "Braverman's phone has been hacked. We have been monitoring, infiltrating, and listening for years, The vault you relied on now belongs to us.”

The account revealed, "We have everything: encrypted conversations, secret deals, disgraceful ethical and financial violations, abuse of power, blackmail and bribes."

In a related incident last September, Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Turkish hackers had breached the phone of Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, later publishing on X the phone numbers of 11 Israeli ministers as well as Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana.
