Explosion inside a mosque in Homs (Circulating image)
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Friday that an "explosion occurred inside Imam Ali Mosque in Homs in the Wadi al-Dahab area, resulting in casualties."
The Syrian Ministry of Health said, “Eight killed and 18 injured as a result of the explosion in a mosque in Homs,” and the Homs Media Directorate confirmed that “the explosion was caused by an explosive device planted inside the mosque.”

Immediately, a security cordon was imposed on the site of the explosion in the Wadi al-Dahab neighborhood in Homs, according to "SANA."
The extremist group “Saraya Ansar al-Sunnah” claimed in a statement responsibility for detonating explosive devices inside the mosque.
