Hezbollah fires over 70 rockets from Lebanon toward northern Israel (images and videos)
Israeli media reported on Tuesday evening that more than 70 rockets were fired from Lebanon toward northern Israel.
Later, Hezbollah announced a wave of operations called "Khaibar 1."

Long-range rockets
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority confirmed that Hezbollah fired rockets toward northern Israel from a distance of 100 kilometers from the Lebanese border. It also reported that a long-range rocket launch was observed from Lebanon.
Channel 15 reported that Hezbollah launched several ground-to-ground rockets toward Israel.
Meanwhile, Israeli police said they are responding to sites in northern Israel where rockets or fragments landed.

Channel 12 reported that debris fell in several locations from the north down to the Hadera area.
It was also noted that alongside the rockets, drones were launched.

A rocket was also reported to have hit Haifa.
Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that a building was hit in Karmiel in the Upper Galilee, and rescue efforts are underway for several people trapped inside.

Attacking rocket launch sites
Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced that in the last few minutes, Hezbollah fired rockets toward several areas in Israel.
The Israeli army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, said on X, "Alongside interception efforts, the Air Force is currently targeting rocket launch sites and additional Hezbollah infrastructure across Lebanon."
Earlier in the day, the Israeli army reported that it had observed "intensive preparations by Hezbollah to launch a barrage of rockets, and we are working to prevent it."
