Night of airstrikes on Beirut suburbs: Israel targets Hezbollah sites as evacuation warning issued in northern Israel

Following a violent night in Beirut’s southern suburbs, which were emptied of residents in a massive exodus to other areas of Lebanon, the Israeli army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, released aerial footage on the “X” platform showing several buildings being struck in the suburb—part of 26 waves of attacks on the area since the beginning of the war.
Avichay Adraee stated that “the air force, with intelligence guidance from the Israeli Military Intelligence Directorate, carried out a wide wave of raids in Beirut last night targeting Hezbollah’s infrastructure.”

Avichay Adraee claimed that the raids targeted “the executive council headquarters and a warehouse storing drones used by Hezbollah in its attacks on Israel,” adding that these sites “were designated for Hezbollah’s use to advance and implement various plans against the army and Israel,” according to his statement.
After the intense night raids, Hezbollah issued a similar warning, in Hebrew, to residents of northern Israeli settlements, advising evacuation within 5 kilometers of the border line.
In a statement, Hezbollah War Media said: “You are requested to evacuate all settlements located within 5 km of the border line... The hostility of your army against Lebanese sovereignty and its citizens, and the destruction of civilian infrastructure, along with the displacement campaign it carries out, will not go unanswered.”
