Earlier today, Aoun held a series of communications that included Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, Minister of Public Works Faez Rasamni, the US ambassador to Lebanon Michel Assi, and Army Commander General Rudolph Haikal. He also consulted yesterday with Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri. This comes as part of monitoring rapid developments in the region and their potential repercussions.

Aoun emphasized the need for the highest levels of readiness and coordination among the various constitutional authorities and relevant agencies to protect Lebanon. He stressed that the delicate current stage requires everyone to fully commit to national responsibility and prioritize the supreme interest of Lebanon and the Lebanese people above all else.

He also affirmed the priority of stability and avoiding entanglement in foreign war. He called for unifying efforts to confront escalation and prevent any repercussions on Lebanon's land and people. He emphasized that the state, with all its institutions, will remain the primary guarantor of security and stability and the protection of all citizens and land.

Today, Hezbollah condemned "the treacherous American-Israeli aggression targeting Iran," citing that the act followed "months of Zionist and American threats aimed at subduing the Islamic Republic... stripping it of its natural and legitimate right to possess peaceful nuclear capabilities..."

The group noted that "this new aggression, which grossly breaches international law and the United Nations Charter, continues the arrogant and tyrannical approach practiced by the US administration and the criminal Zionist entity in our region, in a desperate attempt to destabilize Iran, subjugate its peoples, and force them to accept projects of hegemony and occupation."
