Israeli strikes hit southern Lebanon: Homes destroyed, ceasefire violations continue
The Israeli army continues operations to rig and demolish the remains of houses, even those already damaged or cracked, in the frontline villages of southern Lebanon. After midnight yesterday, an Israeli force infiltrated the town of Kfarkela, detonating two houses near the heavily damaged municipal building.

Earlier, an Israeli drone targeted the town of Zebqine in southern Lebanon, without causing any injuries.
Before noon on Monday, Israeli warplanes launched a series of raids on the Litani River area near the outskirts of the towns of Sarira and Barghaz. Airstrikes were reported across several areas in southern Lebanon, including valleys and towns near the Litani River and in the Jezzin district, targeting multiple frontline villages along the border region.
The Israeli army spokesperson stated that the strikes targeted sites in southern Lebanon, including tunnel entrances, Hezbollah camps, rocket-launching positions, and weapons storage facilities.
This is part of ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect since November 27, 2024. Israeli breaches of the agreement have resulted in hundreds of Lebanese casualties and injuries. It continues to occupy five hills seized during the last war, in addition to other Lebanese territories it has held for decades.
