The Saudi Press Agency reported that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized during a phone call that the continued Iranian attacks on Gulf Cooperation Council countries represent a serious escalation that threatens regional security and stability.

The agency added, "The council countries will continue their efforts to defend their territories and provide all available means to support regional security and maintain its stability."
