Heavy raids in southern Lebanon and western Bekaa, Israel targets Radwan Force training facility
Amid rising Israeli threats of a wide-scale military operation in Lebanon should the Lebanese state fail to resolve the disarmament of Hezbollah by the end of the year, the Israeli army resumed its aerial attacks on villages in southern Lebanon and the western Bekaa today.

The warplanes conducted a series of intense raids on the towns of Al-Jarmaq, El Breij, Jbaa, Sejoud, Aramta, Mount Rihan, the highlands of Iqlim Al Tuffah, the area between the towns of Ansariyeh and Az-Zrariyah, Wadi Bnaafoul-Roumine, and the town of Tibna in southern Lebanon.
In the western Bekaa, the warplanes carried out four raids on the Hamma Zalaya area, accompanied by continuous mid-altitude flights over the region.
Meanwhile, Israel's Channel 12 reported that the air force had begun attacking Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. The channel quoted an Israeli security source saying, “A Hezbollah training facility and several other targets in Lebanon are being targeted.”
Israel's Channel 14 also quoted a source saying that "the Israeli army targeted weapon depots and Hezbollah sites in Lebanon."
Subsequently, the Israeli army claimed to have attacked a training facility in southern Lebanon of Radwan Force, Hezbollah's elite military unit, as well as additional military infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanese regions.

The Israeli army spokesperson said, "For the second time this week, the army raided a training camp used by the Radwan Force unit of Hezbollah to train its members."
Adraee alleged that "the training and drills that the unit members underwent included shooting exercises and training on the use of various types of weapons with the goal of planning and executing schemes against the Israeli army and Israeli citizens."
He added, "As part of the raids, additional military infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in various southern Lebanon regions was also targeted."
