The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, in Abu Dhabi. The meeting affirmed the strong ties between the two countries and explored ways to deepen bilateral cooperation across sectors aligned with the developmental priorities of both the UAE and Jordan.

Bin Zayed welcomed Safadi's visit, emphasizing the depth of the longstanding historic relations between the two nations. The two sides also discussed key regional developments, foremost among them the current situation in the Gaza Strip, and confirmed the importance of proceeding with the implementation of U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to achieve sustainable security and peace in the region.

The two sides also discussed the escalation in the occupied West Bank, stressing the necessity of halting the tension and reviving political efforts to reach a two-state solution in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions. The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on key regional and international issues of mutual interest.
