Growth, Stability, Diplomacy: The Three Pillars of UAE Power
It is needless to say that strengthening the foundations of the Emirates economy internally is most likely to result in equal strengthening of the economy externally. This is true, for the regional and international stance of the Emirates, which it enjoys today, has come only through its internal policies. Mutual respect among countries is significantly conditioned by each country's economic state. In other words, countries with successful internal policies, prosperous economy, together with a high rate of social security, have always been respected by both world and neighbouring countries. On the other hand, countries that have been unsuccessful internally, though skilled externally, lose world respect and are continually disregarded by their own people.
The United Arab has Emirates understood this very well, and has always sought to realise prosperity by focusing on economic development. This can be realised by fostering sectors like investment, business administration, and individual enterprise, in addition to catching up with all that is new in the Labor Market.
This sides with the introduction and application of the latest technologies. All these initiatives are indicative of creative flexibility and the ability to take daring steps when cutting life-shaping decisions.
This comes only through standing on solid ground created by a multitude of investigation studies of the consequences of the newly cut decision in an attempt to reduce shortcomings to the minimal possible level.
Dubai, for instance, has for decades been enjoying an era of economic prosperity. Yet, international economy is adopting a new attitude that compelled the Emirates to reformulate its economic agenda and adopt a new development trend.
Its civilizational vision is equally optimised to cope with the current outfit. Getting into military conflict with Iran does not relate to the Emirates logistics for the simple reasons that the first is very well furnished with incredible opportunities of economic growth while the later has none of that.
In other words, Iran has nothing to lose in case it initiates a war against the Emirates. This explains the reason why Abu Dhabi clings to diplomacy, unlike Iran, which has for long been immersed in conflicts and wars.
Sheik Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has created an atmosphere of tolerance , coexistence, and ideological variety, and has engineered a system of relationships where everyone is situated on a similar distance. This enable him to handle crisis and to always lead the Emirates to safety.
