The Qatari capital, Doha, is hosting today, Tuesday, an international meeting to discuss the formation of an international 'stability force' in the Gaza Strip, according to two U.S. officials quoted by Reuters. Meanwhile, Hamas leader Ghazi Hamad indicated that 'the Israeli army manipulated the terms of the ceasefire agreement and violated every clause".

Hamad said: 'The mediators confirmed that Hamas did not commit a single violation of the agreement and fully adhered to it,” adding: “There was an agreement to form a committee to address violations, but the occupation failed to comply with that.'

He pointed out that "Israel has not stopped violating the ceasefire for a single day", confirming that "814 Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement have occurred so far".

Direct Negotiation
Khaled Meshaal, the head of Hamas abroad, urged U.S. President Donald Trump to put an end to 'Israeli interference' in American politics, calling on Washington to negotiate directly with Hamas and other Palestinian factions, 'with the aim of establishing friendly and bilateral relations,' instead of trying to isolate it.

In an interview with the website Drop Site News, Meshaal said that 'the United States, unfortunately, prioritizes Israel’s interests over its own. Even Trump’s own audience has begun to realize that Israel constitutes a burden on him, constrains U.S. interests, and harms them.'
He called on the American people and administration to 'judge based on America's interests, not Israel's.'

Flooded Tents and the Death of Children

For his part, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem affirmed today that the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip is worsening due to severe weather conditions.
Qassem said: 'Our people in the Gaza Strip face an escalating humanitarian disaster due to harsh weather conditions and the aftermath of the extermination war, where tents and shelters have been completely flooded, in the absence of heating means and falling temperatures, as less than 10% of the agreed fuel was introduced by the occupation.'

Qassem explained that "the allowed shelter supplies are insufficient", pointing out that "the tents are not equipped to deal with the current weather conditions, which causes them to flood with every weather depression", while warning at the same time of more victims in any upcoming storm.

The Hamas spokesperson considered that "what is happening represents an extension of the genocidal war against the Gaza Strip; the killing may have partially stopped through bombardment, but it continues through people drowning and children dying from the cold, while the international community remains incapable of breaking the siege imposed on the Strip".
