After an Israeli airstrike targeted Beirut’s southern suburbs on Wednesday evening, and Israeli media reported that the strike hit the leader of Hezbollah’s “Radwan Force,” attention has once again turned to the unit, which is considered one of the party’s most prominent military formations.

 

The “Radwan Force” is regarded as Hezbollah’s elite offensive unit, established to carry out special operations, particularly along the border front, according to military reports.
