The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, announced that “a new equation is forming for the Strait of Hormuz.”

Following the tensions witnessed in the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, with U.S. President Donald Trump launching the “Project Liberty” operation, Ghalibaf said: “The United States and its allies have endangered maritime navigation and energy transportation security by violating the ceasefire and imposing a blockade; there is no doubt that their evil will dissipate.”

He added, “We are fully aware that the continuation of the current situation is unacceptable for America; we have not yet started.”
