Trump: “The storm is coming and no one can stop it” as US weighs Iran strikes
Iranian Leader Mojtaba Khamenei announced on Thursday that the American presence in the region is the cause of instability, considering that a new phase is taking shape in the region and the Strait of Hormuz, amid what he described as major regional and international changes.
In a new written message published by Iranian television, the Iranian leader said that the Iranian people will not accept enemy aggressions. He added that a new chapter is forming in the region and the Strait of Hormuz, referring to anticipated regional transformations.
He stressed that the American presence in countries overlooking regional waters is the main source of insecurity, considering that the so-called American bases in the region are not even capable of protecting themselves.

New administration for Hormuz
Khamenei indicated that a new management approach for the Strait of Hormuz would bring calm and progress, in addition to economic benefits for all Gulf countries.
He added that these developments represent the beginning of a new global and regional order, stressing that the future of the region will be without an American presence and will serve the security and prosperity of its peoples.
The Iranian leader also noted that the recent developments open a new phase, and that managing the Strait of Hormuz in a different form would have a positive impact on stability and the economy in the region.
US naval blockade “doomed to fail”
Earlier today, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that a US naval blockade imposed on Iranian ports would worsen unrest in the region and would fail to achieve its objectives.
In a statement, Pezeshkian added that any attempt to impose a naval blockade or similar restrictions is contrary to international law and will ultimately fail.
Trump: “A storm is coming”
US President Donald Trump is receiving a briefing on Thursday from CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper regarding new plans to resume war on Iran, according to Axios.
Sources familiar with the matter said that CENTCOM has prepared a plan for a wave of “short and powerful” strikes on Iran, likely targeting infrastructure sites, in an effort to break the negotiation deadlock.
Trump also posted on Truth Social a link to an image accompanied by the phrase “the storm is coming and no one can stop what is coming.”
