Gebran Tuéni’s legacy

Only recently I joined UNESCO, but I have already heard from colleagues how important Gebran Tueni  was to UNESCO’s work on promoting media freedom. In fact, before his assassination, he had been actively involved in promoting freedom of expression and quality of journalism, as he did on the occasion of the celebrations of the World Press Freedom Day every 3 May.
