Haifa Wehbe named among world's most beautiful women

BEIRUT: Lebanese singer and actress Haifa Wehbe has ranked among the 10 most beautiful women aged 40 and above for 2017. Haifa occupied the 10th place on the list published Monday by Wonderslist.com.

Wehbe, 40-years-old, was the only Arab woman who featured on the list that includes the likes of American artists Beyonce, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie and Penelope Cruz.

American actress Charlize Theron topped the list followed by Italian actress Monica Belluci, model Kate Upton and award-winning actress Jennifer Aniston.

The Lebanese artist is a renowned performer with a large fan base that spans the Arab world.

Earlier this month, Buzznet.com – a U.S. based website owned by Hollywood Buzz Magazine – ranked Wehbe as one of the 30 Most Beautiful Women of 2017, beating the likes of British supermodel Naomi Campbell, Oprah Winfrey and former first lady Michelle Obama.

Buzznet's list included many international actresses and artists such as Emma Stone who landed 12th place, American Actress Alexandra Daddario who came in at 10th place and British actress Emma Watson who came in at 4th place.

The list – which was headed by American Singer Beyonce – was compiled based on a poll of 7 million people which closed on February 10, 2017.
